Carnival rides, musical acts, motorsport events, concession stands, pig races, children's activities and more. Tickets $15 and include access to events throughout the grounds. Livestock show begins at 8 a.m. Market and breeding classes include steers, hogs, goats and sheep raised by Jefferson County 4-H, FFA and Jr. Cattleman. Bees, Beetles and Butterflies, 2-8 p.m., Washington State Park, 13041 Hwy. 104, De Soto. Tour the park and learn its history. At 4 p.m., children may join a game of tag at the pool and learn about native wildflowers. At 7 p.m., meet at the amphitheater to join a 1-mile hike and learn about native bugs.

Aim for the Stars, sunset, Jefferson College Observatory, Farm Road on north entrance of Hillsboro campus. Telescope open for public viewing; visitors may bring their own telescopes and binoculars. Volunteers from the St. Louis Astronomical Society will assist beginners. Postponed for inclement weather. Call 636-481-3318.
